Music Therapy

Christine is a board-certified music therapist at NYU Langone Hospital in Mineola, specializing in neonatal intensive care and pediatric hematology/oncology support. She provides personalized live music interventions to aid in support, coping, expression, procedural support, communication and other emotional/cognitive/social goals.

Core Responsibilities

  • Interventions: Creates live, individualized music therapy interventions to support the unique goals of patients and families through songwriting, lyric substitution, improvisation, singing, instrument playing, and other music-based experiences.
  • Care Coordination: Works closely with the psychosocial team and other healthcare professionals to provide collaborative, patient and family centered care.
